It is never easy for blokes to talk about faith and the deep things of the heart, so a group of us decided to get together each Wednesday evening at 6.30pm for a meal and a chat.

We meet alternatively at the church building in Fifth St or at The Commie. When we meet at the church, someone usually volunteers to bring the meal or we have a sausage sizzle. We have a donation bottle to cover costs. At The Commie we meet in the private room at the entrance but order and pay for meals individually in the pub.

There is no agenda but the conversation revolves around the crops, sheep, electronic vehicles and the latest show at The Cummins Theatre. We build trust and camaraderie before we talk of deeper things but are always open to give a bloke support.
